Short life Chapter 35- Yuzai unleashed

Sora is mortally wounded and is clinging to her life. Shukan is devastated and is traumatized.

Tanoshimi: I stopped hurting her human. Now we can continued where we left off. Hahahaha!

Shukan: (enraged) You could have killed her.

Tanoshimi: So what, but don't worry you'll be ending up just like her though. So your next.

Shukan: (enraged) Why? WHY DID YOU TRY TO KILL HER!

Tanoshimi: Because I felt like it!

Shukan explodes with tremendous amounts of energy.

Shukan: City arts forbidden technique, Yuzai! Unleash!

Note: Shukan strongest technique. It has 6 levels of power. The higher the level, the more damage he does to the opponent and himself.

in thought) What the hell is this! I need to cut him now and finish him off.

Tanoshimi strikes at him with his scythe, but Shukan catches it.

Shukan: Level 1. Self defense.

Note: Level 1 allows Shukan skin to harden denser than steel. It also allows him to break anything he touches.

Shukan breaks the scythe with his bare hand.

Shukan: (raging) I'm am so sick and tired of you! YOU PISS ME OFF! I HATE YOU! YOU COULD HAVE KILLED SORA!

Shukan punches him very hard, and Tanoshimi flies through several pillars.

Shukan: Level 2! Combat mode!

Note: Level 2 allows him to double his energy and power, making him also move incredibly fast and unlock his Yuzai punch technique.

Shukan runs to him at blinding speed and fights wildly, throwing a lot of punches.

Shukan: 10,000 YUZAI PUNCHES!

Shukan breaks every single bone in Tanoshimi's body.

Tanoshimi: (coughing lots of blood)

Shukan: YOU DEMONS SHOT SORA OFF THE ISLAND! THEN YOU BEAT HER NON-STOP, AND THEN YOU CUT HER AND WOUNDED HER. ON TOP OF THAT SHE IS CLINGING TO HER LIFE. DIDN'T ANYONE TELL YOU NOT TO HURT A WOMAN! (crying)WHAT THE HELL DID SHE DO TO YOU HUH!

Tanoshimi: (coughing blood) I don't know

Shukan: (enraged) WELL I'LL GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO REMEMBER AND NEVER FORGET! Level 3! ULTIMATE YUZAI!

Note: Level 3 is a technique that is very destructive and causes shock-waves.

Shukan kills Tanoshimi as the whole island is blown by a huge gust of wind due to the shock-wave. Shukan then heads to the shrine.

Shukan: Its gone. Who took it?

He notices that one more demon that Shukan did not kill who stole the wondering spirit and sealed it inside of her.

Shukan: Just get out of her before I kill you too.

She flies away. Shukan heads to the temple. As Shukan heads to the temple, he is suffering tremendous amounts of pain.

Shukan: So this is what it feels like when you use this technique. This is excruciating.

The pain gets worse.

Shukan: (yelling)

Shukan passes out. Later on he wakes up inside the temple, laying next to Sora.

Joo: Oh, your awake.

Shuka: Yep.

Joo: I treated your wounds.

Shukan: Thanks.

Joo: Look I'm sorry I doubted you. I shouldn't have done that.

Shukan: (upset) Its okay. Don't worry about it.

Joo: If your wondering about Sora then she's gonna be okay.

Shukan: Its all my fault!

Joo: How?

Shukan: (crying) I couldn't protect her like I should have!

Sora holds Shukan's hand.

Sora: I'm fine Shukan, don't worry about it.

Shukan: But I couldn't get the wandering spirit you wanted. Some demon girl stole it.

Sora: Then I guess I'll have to find another one.

Shukan: Then I promise, I'll find you another one.

Sora: (in thought) He's so trustworthy.

Joo: Shukan. May I talk too you for a minute?

Shukan: Sure.

They go to another room.

Shukan: What is it?

Joo: I want Sora to go with you and join along the crew your in.

Shukan: Um sure, but what is Sora good at?

Joo: She is a information broker.

Shukan: Oh that's cool. I'll go ask her, and we'll leave.

Shukan leaves the room and goes back to Sora.

Joo: (crying with happiness) Thanks Shukan. (in tohught) I have to let her go now. She's already infected by you. There is nothing that I can do but leave it to you, now that she has Amour syndrome.

Shukan: Hey Sora.

Sora: Oh hey Shukan.

Shukan: I was wondering, do you want to join the Shorai mafia.

Sora: Um sure, let me get my stuff and we will go.

Sora fixes her hair and changes clothes. She gets her equipment and other stuff. Shukan, Sora and Mamoru fly of with Shogo as they head back to Sho island.
